I really enjoy spinning and dying my own yarns. I had a nice skein of wool/mohair that I dyed a lovely raspberry color. The color was really the inspiration behind this simple and striking beret. While I wanted to be able to use and showcase some of my handspun yarns I also wanted to make the hat out of and equally beautiful commercial yarn. I chose to use a merino silk blend. This hat is a great way to use luxury yarns without spending a fortune on it. Two sizes avail able small/ medium and large/extra large. The large / extra large is very slouchy.

Please note: I no longer have time to design and new tax laws make that even harder. My patterns are now free. Please enjoy. However no pattern support or help will be given as I am not on here much anymore.
