Intersection
This unusual modular scarf plays with direction to show off a skein of gradient yarn to interesting effect. Semi circles are joined as you go to create a delicate looping long scarf worked. A simple pattern that was inspired by free-form crochet ideas
Size
Finished width: 20cm/8in
Finished length: 224cm/88in
Length can be easily adjusted by changing the number of repeats worked. Altering the size alters the amount of yarn required.
Materials
1 104g skein Natali Stewart BFL Silk gradient (heavy lace, 55% BFL 45% silk, 600m/100g) in Autumn Maple
4mm hook (US G) hook
Note: Should you wish to work this is a 4ply weight then choose a slightly larger hook, allow at least 600m and be prepared to work fewer repeats. Weigh yarn before and after a repeat to find out if you can complete another repeat.
Tension
19 sts and 14 rows in Htr in BLO to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook (or size needed to obtain tension)
