Take a walk through the woods with this soft silk and wool blend winter forest cushion.

This cushion starts with a provisional cast-on and is worked in the round. An afterthought opening is marked with waste yarn – the top edge of the opening has a simple cast-off edge and crochet chain button loops, while a stocking stitch flap is knitted onto the lower edge of the opening. The cast-on edge and the top edge of the cushion are joined by grafting.

For a smaller cushion, use DK yarn and 4mm needles.
