Irma T-shirt

To fit my wonderful Everyday Kit I have designed a soft and light summer top with a simple lace pattern, which at the same time makes it feminine, classic, and simple. I am going to wear mine with my nice summer skirts or ¾-length trousers and my favorite sandals. The design is short and slightly oversize, i.e. with a positive ease of approx. 5-10 cm / 2-4 inches, and normal armhole depth. It has a wide neck opening to let us show off our nice summer tan. You can also knit it in Önling No 14, our shiny 100% Lyocell yarn. The pattern also describes how to make ¾-length sleeves.

Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

Procedure
The top is worked in the round from the top down. First, the yoke is worked with short rows and increases, and then with increases embedded in the lace pattern. Subsequently the work is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. This makes it possible to try on the top as you go and make it fit perfectly for you. The length is easily adjusted to be made shorter or longer as you prefer.
