Welcome my newest design for a beautifully textured and effortlessly stylish drop-shoulder sweater. Whether you’re just starting out or have some crochet experience under your belt, this beginner-friendly design makes a cozy, modern piece you’ll be proud to wear or gift.

The Jade Sweater is worked side to side, giving it a unique horizontal texture and beautiful drape. It uses a special crochet stitch that mimics the look of knitted fabric, so you get that classic knitwear vibe — with your crochet hook! The result is a clean, minimal aesthetic with cozy stretch and structure.

This sweater is constructed in four separate panels (front, back, and two sleeves) and then seamed together. Ribbing is added directly onto the body and neckline, eliminating the need for separate ribbing pieces and giving the sweater a polished, seamless look.

This crochet pattern has been professionally tech-edited, and written in TECHNICAL WRITING.

☑ Sizing: This pattern is written is 6 sizes as follow: XS, (S, M, L, XL, XXL) to fit bust sizes 71-76, (81-86, 91.5- 97, 101.5-107, 111.5-117, 122-127) cm.
☑ The finished bust measurements are: 86 (96, 108, 120, 128, 141) cm // 34 (39, 42.5, 47, 50.5, 55.5) inches

☑This sweater is made in worsted yarn. Here’s the materials I’ve used:

I used JADE by Hobbii Yarn
100% Acrylic; 100 g (3.5 oz) = 300 m (328 yds). This is the first sample and it hasn’t been blocked.

Fuchsia (05)- 3 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) balls

For the Second sample - YELLOW- I’ve used Drops Karisma and even though this a DK weight my tension was the same using a 5.5 mm crochet hook. This sample was blocked. You can follow this step and block your sweater, but keep in mind the final measurements of your sweater will change.
