Is it a mouse? Is it a tiny kangaroo? It’s a Jerboa! These clever little desert mammals have very large ears, which help them to avoid nocturnal predators, and can run (or, perhaps, hop?) at speeds of up to 15 miles per hour - very impressive considering their small size!

The pattern combines cotton and mohair to make a fluffy body, and uses cotton for the details to create a contrast in texture.
