These winter themed mittens were designed to match the Joulutunnelma socks. These mittens are knit with DK to Worsted weight yarn (200 m / 100g), and the sample pair was knit with Novita 7 Veljestä yarn. There’s only one size in this pattern (adult), but by changing the yarn weight and needle size you get more size options. This pattern features stranded colorwork with long floats so remember to catch them every now and again to avoid the fabric tightening up too much. In these cozy mittens your fingers will stay warm!

You need 30-40 grams of three different colors of DK to Worsted weight yarn. Even though the sample is made using worsted weight yarn, the gauge is quite tight so DK also works well.
