Jules is my youngest sister, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. This sweater was a last minute cast on before the holidays. I just love the finished piece, and it knit up so quickly that I had to share it with you! I chose a simple French lace motif for the top of the sweater, as my sister has studied and spoken French since middle school, and I felt it was the perfect fit for her namesake.

Notes
This fun, fast knit is knit in the round from the bottom up, separated at the underarms, and the front and back lace motif are knit flat separately. A mock seam is created along the sides with a simple purl stitch. Both front and back neck and shoulders are shaped and seamed together with finishing. Short rows are worked just after the garter hem to create a delicate hi-lo look for this sweater. The lace motif is a simple French lace that is quick and easy to knit and is great for beginners and more advanced knitters alike.
