Kaali was first published in Pom Pom Quarterly’s Issue 18, their Natural Dyes Issue. Knitting this cozy pair of fingerless mitts, is a way to capture all those incredible colours produced by an array of seasonal plants that bloom and then are harvested during the summer months. The soft halo of the cashmere is complimented by a hint of cotton threads. Other embriodery theards or thinner yarn can be used for the contrasting colours.
