Brown/mint sample: height: 22.5 cm / 9”; circumference at brim: approximately 42 cm / 16.5”.
White/blue sample: height: 20.5 cm / 8”; circumference at brim: approximately 42 cm / 16.5”.

Gauge:
24 sts x 26 rounds = 10 cm /4” with 4 mm (US 6) needle in stranded pattern.

Yarn: 2 different colors of approximately 100 metres / 109 yards DK weight yarn in. Yarn used for the sample:
Brown/mint sample: Mint: Laines du Nord Merino Yak (70% Merino Wool, 15% Alpaca, 15% Yak; 115 m (126 yards) / 50 gr; colour 1. Brown: Drops Lima (65% Wool, 35% Alpaca; 100 m (109 yards) / 50 gr; colour: brown.
White/blue sample: Istex Lettlopi (100% Icelandic wool; 100 m (109 yards) / 50 gr; colour: Fjiord blue and white.
Needles: 3.75 mm (US 5) and 4 mm (US 6) or needle size needed to obtain the gauge, DPNs size 4 mm (US 6) one set.
Notions: removable stitch markers, tapestry needle.
