Featuring a reversible design that completely transforms when turned inside-out, these fingerless mittens showcase the beauty of the interlocking crochet technique.

An easy-to-memorize 2-round repeat creates seamless colorwork using just one color at a time. Perfect for adding versatility and flair to your winter wardrobe!

The Kaleidoscope Fingerless Mittens are worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, entirely on the right side. You start with the cuff worked as a tube, then add two darts to increase the circumference in the gusset section before you split the work into two sections: one for the thumb and one for the rest of the fingers. The mitten is finished off with a set of decorative SC in BLO rounds around the cuff, knuckles, and thumb.

Pair it with the matching Kaleidoscope Beanie, Kaleidoscope Cowl, and Kaleidoscope Sweater to complete the set.

This pattern was originally published as part of Hobbii’s 2025 Crochet Advent, A Winter’s Tale. It is now available in my usual pattern layout through my webshop or Ravelry. • Yarn: Sport or fingering weight.

Sample 1 (teal + off white): Hobbii Friends Extra Fine Merino (100% Wool; 180 yds/165 m per 1.75 oz/50 g ball) in Turquoise (94) as the main color and Off White (02) as the contrast color.
Sample 2 (dark cream + chocolate brown): Hobbii Friends Sock Wool (75% Wool, 25% Polyamide; 230 yds/210 m per 1.75 oz/50 g ball) in Nougat (09) as the main color and Black Cherry (60) as the contrast color.

• Hooks: US E-4/3.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge. I’m a tight crocheter, so you may have to go down in hook size.

• Notions: Scissors, yarn needle, 4 locking stitch markers, tape measure.
