This is a double-layered cowl that starts with a provisional cast-on and is joined with Kitchener stitch. The charted Kallax pattern on the outside is an easy stranded knit finished with optional embroidery, while the inner layer is worked in stocking stitch. After you’ve knitted this cowl, you can display your embroidery skills, decorative buttons or beads in the little compartments, or just leave them empty to show off the beauty of the geometric stranded knitting.
