In this triangle shawl the contrasting cables form a stunning graphic mesh seemingly laying on top of the fabric. An elegant signature piece for your wardrobe and a guaranteed conversation piece for every knitter you meet.

The secret of this pattern is that the main color is worked throughout in garter stitch while the delicate cables of one-stitch-intarsia are only knit on the right side and simply slipped on the wrong side. A technique that looks intricate but is logical and easy to accomplish and soon turns into a soothing knitting rhythm.

“Karo” is the German word for “rhombus”.
