Kasmir
If you add 4 of my designs to your cart, the least expensive one will be free ~ enjoy!
This beginner-friendly scarf features entertaining geometric bands that are surprisingly easy to knit.
Shaped like a rectangle with pointed ends, Kasmir begins at each tip. The two halves are knitted toward its center, where they are joined seamlessly with triangles. The center of the scarf is especially eye-catching, with the mirrored points of the geometric bands meeting tip to tip.
The geometric bands are knitted using a mosaic stitch. Only one color is used at a time, and the pattern is created by slipping stitches instead of working them. The rest of the scarf is knitted in relaxing garter stitch. I-cords are worked along both edges throughout for a clean finish.
The finished scarf is cozy and suitable for all of the adults and teens in your life. So grab your needles, choose two beautiful contrasting colors and watch this striking design emerge!
Please share your project with me in my ravelry group or on Instagram with tags #kasmirscarf and @shadystroll ~ I would love to see it.
