Kastanja Sweater is knitted seamlessly top down, starting at the neckband. The sleeves and body are separated after shoulder increases and knitted separately.
The back is shaped with short rows to improve the fit. The sleeves have a variety of cables, and the front & back parts are knitted with stockinette stitch.
The pattern uses two strands of yarn, fingering weight yarn combined with a lace weight yarn. You can substitute the yarn also with one strand of DK weight yarn.

Sample is knitted with Along Avec Anna Merino in colorway Châtaigne, held together with Along Avec Anna Silk Mohair in colorway Châtaigne.
Amounts:
850 (920, 1000, 1150, 1250) (1350, 1460, 1600, 1700) m / 930 (1010, 1090, 1260, 1370) (1480, 1600, 1750, 1860) yards of each yarn, or the same amount of DK weight yarn.

Gauge:
19 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches of stitch pattern on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles:
4.5 mm needles for the main parts, 3.5 mm needles for the ribbings.
