The gloves were designed by Wilma Malcolmson exclusively for Shetland Wool Week 2020 as part of the ‘Katie’ series, to match the #katieskep and #katiescowl

The pattern was part of the Supporters of Shetland Wool Week pack.

It was available as a digital download from the Shetland Wool Week online shop, but no longer seems to be there as at September 2021.

Katie’s mitts/gloves are worked in the round from the bottom up, then stitches are picked up to work an afterthought thumb. Two finish options are given so you can make either fingerless gloves or mitts.
