This deceptively simple pullover is knit from the bottom up and features seamless saddle-shoulder shaping for a clean fit. Kera is graphic, yet understated; decrease lines define the shoulders, and slashes of a contrasting color mark the pockets. With flattering waist shaping concentrated in the back, Kera is an easygoing sweater that doesn’t sacrifice silhouette.

Sized with 5% positive ease at the bust, but choose your size based on your cross-back measurement. As long as your bust measurement is within an inch or two on either side of the bust measurement that corresponds to your cross-back, you should not need to make alternations. (Cross-back is measured across the back from where “seam” hits to the same spot on the other side – the red line in the schematic.)

The pattern has been tagged as seamless, although the pocket linings are stitched down. The overall construction method, however, is seamless.

• Long-tail cast-on

• 30” - 1000
• 33” - 1100
• 36” - 1200
• 39” - 1300
• 42” - 1400
• 45” - 1500
• 48” - 1600
• 51” - 1700
• 54” - 1800

Materials:
• Light worsted/DK weight yarn for your size (see above for amounts). Sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza (superwash merino wool)
• 50-75 yards of lighter-weight yarn for the pocket lining. Sport-weight is a good choice
• US 6/4 mm needles, or size needed to obtain gauge in stockinette – you will need needles for working the sleeves and body in the round
• US 5/3.75 mm needles, or size needed to obtain gauge in garter – you will need needles for working the sleeve cuffs and the neck in the round, as well as for working the body hems flat
• Stitch markers, including two locking markers
• Tape measure
• Waste yarn for holding pocket stitches and sleeves
• Tapestry needle
