I’m always getting requests for more Boy items so that’s where conception began for my Kids Flat Cap. However, while hooking and testing, one of my testers suggested making it for girls as well and I’m SO glad she did as my daughter LOVES her new cap and refused to take it off after pictures. lol

Sizes Included:
6-12m : 18”
12-24m: 19”
3-5yrs: 20”
6-10yrs: 21”

Kids Flat Cap is my Original Design! It is a very versatile cap as it can be made in any color combo and can be dressed up or made to look more casual! This cap is a FUN cap to hook and it works up very quickly!

Stitches used in this pattern are: Ch, Sl St, Sc, Hdc. The pattern also includes a step by step photo tutorial.

The caps in the photos were made using Red Heart Super Saver, Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn & Deborah Norville yarns. The approximate yardage needed to complete the largest cap is 250yds.

Cap design is an ‘A Crocheted Simplicity’ Original Design.
