KnittingByTheSea sweater
The KnittingByTheSea Sweater is a sweater featuring cables and textured stitch patterns. The sweater is worked top-down. At the beginning of the yoke, the back is worked first with cables, textured stitch patterns and increases. The front pieces are then worked separately, one at a time, with increases to shape the neckline. They are then joined to form the front, which is worked back and forth in cables and textured stitch patterns. The body is worked by joining the front and back and continuing in the round in cables and textured stitch patterns. The body is finished with a rib edge and a tubular Italian bind-off.Sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round in stockinette stitch, and finished with a rib edge and a tubular Italian bind-off. The neckband is worked by picking up stitches around the neckline, worked in rib in the round, and finished with a tubular Italian bind-off. The sweater is seamless.
