Finished chest (fullest point) circumference: 77 (85.5, 94.5, 103, 111.5, 120, 128.5, 137, 145.5, 154.5)cm / 30¼ (33¾, 37¼, 40½, 43¾, 47¼, 50¾, 54, 57½, 60¾)” – to be worn with 2.5cm / 1” negative ease - 5cm / 2” positive ease.
The Model’s height is 172.5cm / 5’ 8”, with a chest circumference of 91.5cm / 36” and is wearing size 3.
Yarn: Sport / DK weight approx. 146m / 160yds per 50g.
or approximately 570 (660, 740, 830, 920, 1030, 1100, 1240, 1330, 1440)m of DK weight yarn.
Gauge: 28 sts & 31 rounds = 10cm / 4” over 1x1 half twisted rib pattern in the round on 3.25mm circular needle after blocking.
Needles: 3.25mm / US 3 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length
3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length
3.25mm / US D crochet hook
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 2 stitch markers, 1 locking stitch marker, scrap yarn, cable needle (optional), blocking wires and T-pins (optional but recommended).
Notes: Kupala is knit from the bottom up in the round to the underarm. The front and back are then worked separately in rows to the top of the shoulder straps. The twisted fringe is knit as you go without breaking the yarn. The V-neck is finely integrated into the ornamental twisted stitch pattern.
