Kuura Skirt is knitted bottom up in round. The sample is knitted using Nalle yarn from Novita. You may substitute the yarn with any sport or light DK weight yarn. Choose a size where the waist circumference is closest to your own measurement. You can modify the length of the skirt according to your preferences bearing in mind this may affect the amount of the yarn that is needed.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Length from beneath the waistband to the hem: 57 (57, 58, 58, 58) (59, 59, 60, 60) cm
Waist circumference (flexible, elastic band is used): 62 (69, 77, 89, 97) (109, 117, 123, 129) cm
Hem circumference: 168 (180, 180, 192, 204) (216, 228, 228, 240) cm

Gauge:
22 sts and 32 rounds = 10 cm of stockinette stitch or colorwork on 3,50 mm needles
If your gauge is different when knitting colorwork you can try to change the needle size to smaller/bigger, depending on the need, to meet the same gauge as in stockinette stitch.
24 sts and 40 rounds = 10 cm stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles.

Yarn:
Sample is knitted with Novita Nalle (80% wool, 20% polyamide, 260 meters/100g per skein); colorways 147 Koski (color 1, dark blue), 061 Pellava (color 2, light grey) and 117 Virta (color 3, light blue).
Amounts:
Color 1: 680 (710, 720, 780, 820) (880, 930, 1000, 1160) meters
Color 2: 480 (500, 520, 530, 550) (600, 620, 630, 630) meters
Color 3: 240 (260, 260, 280, 300) (300, 310, 310, 320) meters

Needles:
One or two 3,50 mm needles with cable of 80-120 cm, and 3,00 needles with cable of 80-120 cm

Notions:
4 cm wide elastic band approximately the circumference of your waist + few cms extra to sew it round, tapestry needle, stitch marker.
