La La Lu
The La La Lu scarf is designed to create the illusion of a braid. It is a modular knit, yet still seamless. You will find a charted as well as a written version. You will also find ample photo tutorials which explain the joining techniques and much more.
It works wonderfully with a yarn that shows a color gradient. It will also work with three different colors which look nice together and create enough contrast. You can even go for three different color gradients. I used Mini Mochi, but any other yarn in fingering weight will do. You can also use a lighter or heavier weight, but bear in mind that the scarf will either be a bit wider or smaller, unless you adjust the swatch by choosing a different needle size.
Happy knitting!
