Five columns of lace stitch motifs run down the length of this wrap. The central motif is the stitch pattern featured in Maie Landra’s iconic Charlotte’s Web shawl. On either side of that central motif is the stitch pattern featured in Charlotte’s Daughter Nellie, while the outer edges feature the stitch pattern from Charlotte’s Daughter Joy. Narrow bands of stocking stitch separate the lace stitch patterns, while garter stitch on all four sides stabilize the edges. The three original designs were top-down triangles, knit with KOIGU’S beautiful, multi-coloured yarns. Here, to commemorate KOIGU’S thirtieth anniversary in 2022, I have used the three stitch patterns in a rectangular wrap, knit in their semi-solid KPM yarn.

Skills you will need to know, or learn, to complete this wrap:

  • cast on and bind off;
  • knit and purl;
  • yo increase;
  • k2tog decrease;
  • ssk decrease;
  • cdd double decrease.
