This beautiful scarf features a lace pattern that is denser on the ends and lighter in the middle. It starts out with a very lacy pattern and transitions into one with more stockinette between the lace then becomes a simple eyelet pattern for the middle section before reversing the process.

The scarf is worked flat from one end to the other. Instructions are given in chart and written form and begin with an increase section followed by nine lace sections and ending with a decrease section. Some of the lace sections are repeated, others are worked once as a transition between the other sections.
