Named for the historic mountain lodge on Mount Hood in Oregon, Timberline Mittens are very warm, double-layered, and feature a textured waffle pattern.

The mittens and lining are worked separately and then sewn together. The mitten will be slightly bigger than the finished hand measurements so that the lining can fit comfortably inside. The lining measurements will match the size measurements. The waffle pattern on the mitten will pull the fabric in and make it narrower until it is blocked.
