Inspired by the loose-fitting separates of the 1920s, this lightweight open cardigan is the perfect choice to wear for a tour of the grounds or lunch in the village. The mirroring slanted lace-leaf pockets add femininity and visual interest. The front bands extend past the shoulders to form the neckband.

Cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes. Fronts and back are worked separately. Sleeves are worked from the top down; sleeve cap is shaped with short rows before joining to work in the round.

Note: Since the garment has an open front, choose a finished size that is 2 to 3 inches (5.1 to 7.6 cm) smaller than your actual bust circumference.
