Tyrol cables with their flower bud shapes offset by tucks at each end of the scarf. The layered tucks create a sculptural feel and add drama to the bottom of the loose sleeves. The set is named after the sculptor LaChaise by Clotheshorse where the pattern first was published. Both are knitted in the round to form a tube of textured volume in a scrumptious alpaca and mulberry silk mixture from Blue Sky Alpaca with a divine halo.

Gauge:
22 sts and 28 rnds in st st measures 10 cm/4” square.
22 sts and 40 rnds in garter st measures 10 cm/4” square.
1 cable pattern measures 6 cm/2.5” across and 3 cm/0.75” high.

Notes:
Scarf is knitted in two parts, beginning with the main part and then repeating the hem and tucks for the opposite side. Parts are finally joined with a 3 needle bind-off.
Loose sleeves have a top hem with elastic cord inserted, but you can use a knit-in elastic or make a twisted cord if you prefer.
