My testers told me I should put a warning on this pattern, something to the effect of:

You may also get an unexpected finished object by finishing so quickly.

I suppose that’s appropriate for a pattern called “Lacing Stripes.” I knit the pattern before I came up with a name, and when I realized the stripes were in sets of two, like racing stripes, how could I pass up the pun?
