A pretty, feminine crochet sock pattern that shows off this cotton and silver (real silver!) yarn perfectly! When I first saw this yarn, I knew I wanted to work with it and so I wrote this pattern specifically for it.

While crochet socks don’t normally have much stretch to them, the lacy look design on this one does give it a bit of stretch to accommodate slightly wider feet. (My foot circumference is 9” which is apparently considered “wide” and the sock fits perfectly. It also fits my daughter who has an 8” circumference foot.)

The sock is worked from the toe up and uses an afterthought heel - so the size is easily adjusted. The open-work shell stitches are worked across the top of the sock only; the sole is made with linked double crochet. The cuff is made with front and back post double crochet stitches.

This is an intermediate skill level pattern and uses foundation single crochet and linked double crochet stitches. If you are unfamiliar with how to do them, you will need to do your research - instructions for these stitches are NOT included in the pattern.

In addition to basic crochet stitches (ch, sl st, sc, dc) you will also need to know how to do front-post and back-post double crochet.

This pattern has been tested by several crocheters and while I cannot absolutely guarantee there are no errors; I am confident that you will not find any glaring mistakes.

My testers reported that the socks were a “fun project” and that the directions were clear and easy to follow. My email address is in the pattern and you can always contact me if you have questions.
