Who says socks have to be knit? Crocheted socks are just as much fun to make and wear!

These socks are worked from the toe up and have an after-thought heel. The sole of the sock is made with a modified linked-double crochet stitch which creates a scalloped-inspired motif on the right side and is flat on the wrong side (which will be the inside of the sock). (Instructions included in the pattern.)

The ladder stitch on the top of the foot and the cuff is created with front-post double crochet stitches; they are worked in a straight line on the top of the foot, but spiral around the cuff. The cuff length can be customized to personal preference.
