This 1841 reversible pattern is from Mrs. (Jane) Gaugain and published in the U.K. This very simple 4-row pattern uses any even number of stitches. I added 2 edge stitches to control the yarn over at the beginning of row 4. This lattice is so simple, feel free to split your attention while knitting this with tv or sports watching! (That’s what I actually did!)

Skills needed: cast on, knit, k2tog, YO and bind off.

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Any block-able yarn/thread will work. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.
