Lakka is a circular yoke cardigan worked sideways in one piece. You start knitting at the right front and finish at the left front. The sleeves are worked flat at the same time as the body. They are bound off at the end with a tapestry needle.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9) skeins of British Gotland DK by The Little Grey Sheep (100% Gotland wool, 252 yds / 230 m – 100 g), colourway Naturally. Or 1150 (1262, 1391, 1575, 1745, 1956, 2154) yds / 1052 (1154, 1272, 1440, 1596, 1789, 1970) m of DK weight yarn.
Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needles and US 4 / 3.5 mm 40” / 100 cm circular needles for binding off the sleeves.
Notions: Cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders, waste yarn, blunt tapestry needle. 9 (9, 9, 9, 9, 10, 10) buttons approx. 13/32–1/2” / 10–12 mm in diameter.
GAUGE
21.5 sts x 32 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
