Lanark Tee
Delicate lace, a feminine scoop neck, and a relaxed fit combine to create a pretty and comfortable tee for spring. Worn over a long sleeve tee or turtleneck, it’s also a lovely yet practical layer for cooler days.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 33 (36, 39, 42, 45)(48, 51, 54, 57)“.
Intended to be worn with 2-4” of ease.
Length - 20¾ (21, 21½, 22, 23)(23¼, 23¾, 24, 24¾)”.
YARN: 700 (770, 845, 930, 1030)(1110, 1195, 1280, 1385) yds sport weight wool, wool blend, or cotton.
Shown in Rosy Green Wool “Cheeky Merino Joy” (100% organic Merino extra fine; 350yds/100g) - 057 Wild Mallow.
2 (3, 3, 3, 3)(4, 4, 4, 4) skeins.
NEEDLES: U.S. size 4 (3.5mm) 24” (60cm) circular needle.
U.S. size 4 (3.5mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.
OTHER: Stitch holders, removable stitch markers, tapestry needle.
GAUGE: 24 sts/34 rows = 4” in Lace Pattern, blocked.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include long tail cast on, 3-needle bind off, decreasing in lace pattern, and picking up stitches.
CONSTRUCTION: Back and front are knit separately from the bottom up and shoulders are joined with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the ribbed neck band which is knit in the round. Sides are seamed and stitches are picked up for the armhole trims which are knit in the round and shaped at the underarm with decreases.
PATTERN: 5 page pdf includes schematic and both written and charted instructions for the lace.
