Lattice Squares Afghan / Country Baskets
From a single square to a full-size afghan, this design is a real winner! In fact, this pattern won 1st prize in a 1997 afghan motif design contest, and it’s sure to be a winning addition to your home decor. It is crocheted using medium weight yarn and a size H (5.00 mm) hook. The design is worked in strips; then, the strips are woven into squares that are bordered and whipstitched together.
Called Afghan Square Throw #1 in #2986 and uses a size G hook for the same size afghan.

Materials for Country Baskets Throw:
White - 1190 yards
Blue, Yellow - 850 yards each
Pink, Green - 680 yards each

White - 22 ounces (620 grams, 1245 yards)
Purple - 14 1/2 ounces (440 grams, 875 yards)
Yellow - 14 1/2 ounces (410 grams, 820 yards)
Green - 10 ounces (280 grams, 565 yards)
Pink - 9 ounces (260 grams, 510 yards)
