Lauper
SPECIAL OFFER: Lauper is currently available FREE when you sign up for the Susan Crawford Vintage newsletter, or when you buy the Lauper kit.
Lauper is a versatile accessory — a neck tie, head scarf, hair bow or belt that can be worn in a multitude of ways, adding personality to any outfit. It is quick to knit and uses only a small amount of yarn.
Each Lauper uses only 10 g of yarn, approx 13m/15 yds.
Lauper is commenced with just three stitches, with a single lace leaf then knitted. This is left to one side, then a second matching leaf is knitted followed by a simple garter stitch length. Finally, a three-needle cast-off is worked to join the first leaf to the end of the garter stitch strip.
