Laura Shawl

The Laura Shawl is the third design from lace knitter extraordinaire Aisling Doonan aka Rubysasha. Larger than the previous two designs of Aisling’s we’ve featured, the Laura Shawl is the perfect way to showcase your lace knitting expertise.

This shawl is a curved shallow triangle, knit from the top down with a centre spine.

MATERIALS

Yarn: 4ply/Fingering weight yarn MC 498 metres/545 yards, CC 352metres/385 yards

Shown In: Ellie and Ada High Twist Sock (80& SW Merino, 25% Nylon: 100g = 365 metres/400yards) Shade Roses 2 skeins and Ashes 1 skein

Needles: 3.5mm/US 4 circulars

TENSION/GAUGE

Not critical, but shawls pictured were 34 rows and 24 stitches using the yarn and needle combination above, in pattern.
