This scarf gets its name from the persistence that the design idea had in taking up space in my brain! From the moment that the idea formed, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and the only way to get it to leave me alone and get out of my head was to knit it up!

The deep triangular scarf lends itself well to multicoloured yarn. The pattern is easy to memorise and the drop-stitch border along two edges adds a fun touch. The pattern is fully written and does not contain any charts.

The finished scarf measures 21” deep at its widest point and 43-1/2” along the top edge after blocking when worked to pattern tension of 25 stitches and 40 rows of garter stitch. Achieving exact pattern tension is not vital but it may affect the finished size of your scarf and your yarn yardage requirements if you do not.

You will need:
525 yards (480m) fingering weight yarn
3.5mm (US4) knitting needles
2 stitch markers
Darning needle (for weaving in ends)
