2021 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from A Little Knitty!
How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 28th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!
This shawl is named after my Aunt Linda. She has always inspired me to have a love for yarn and something about designing this shawl reminded me of her! My happy place is using beautiful yarn and keeping my hands busy…getting lost in the rhythm of my needles. The pattern is easy to use with multiple colors too, if you have fingering weight yarn laying around! Bind off with a pop of color for a dramatic look!
Difficulty Level:
Size: 60 x 90 x 40 inches (triangle)
Yarn: Two 100g/420 yards Single Ply Fingering Weight Skeins of Yarn
We used Malabrigo Mechita in Paris Night and Piano
Needle: US6/4mm Knitting Needles – 32” cord
Gauge:20 stitches x 40 rows in a 4” x 4” square in garter stitch after wet blocking and a slight stretch
