Leon is a pocket sized lion, so you can carry the king of the jungle with you on your adventures. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the lion is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Leon’s mane is made by knitting a skull cap of knitted loops, and instructions how to knit a loop are included in the pattern.

A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 50g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and toy safety eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 13cm tall (sitting).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting loops, and seaming to finish.
