THE LOVELIEST Fair Isle patterning
appears on this feminine jumper by
Marie Wallin. The body and sleeves
are knitted in the round, then joined
together to work the yoke. Marie has
knitted her jumper using Rowan’s
Pure Wool 4ply; this yarn has since been
discontinued, although it is still widely
available from online yarn stores.
If you cannot find Pure Wool 4ply,
however, a good alternative yarn would
be Rowan’s Superfine Merino 4ply
