A simple top down sweater with fun color blocking.

24 (26, 28, 29½, 31)“ chest circumference to fit average child age 2/3 (4/5, 6/7, 8/9, 10/11) years. Pullover shown measures 26”, modeled with 2-3” ease.
Yarn
The Plucky Knitter Plucky Sweater (90% merino, 10% nylon; 270 yd/100 g): Wintry Mix (MC), 1 skein; Faded Ink (CC1), 1 (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins; Fountain Pen (CC2), 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) skeins OR The Plucky Knitter Primo Sport (75% wool, 20% cashmere, 5% nylon; 275 yd /100 g): Wintry Mix (MC), 1 skein; Bashful (CC1), 1 (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins; Blush (CC2), 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) skeins. Appx 145 (160, 170, 180, 190) yds of MC, 260 (285, 310, 325, 345) yds of CC1, 240 (260, 285, 300, 320) yds of CC2—exact yardage will vary!
Needles
Ribbing—size 3 (3.25 mm): 16” and 24” circular (cir) and set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Body and sleeves—size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” and 24” cir and dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
Markers (m); stitch holders/waste yarn; tapestry needle.
Gauge
22 sts and 31 rnds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles
