This cowl is a companion piece to the Lock & Key Hat, and Lock & Key Mitts. It uses a simple cable motif to represent the lock, and slipped stitches for the keys.

This is one size fits most, and can be adjusted in either length or circumference for a custom fit.

The central motif of the Lock & Keys is both charted and completely written out, and the back and sides are done with simple K2/P2 ribbing. The ribbing gives a close fit to the back of the neck, and drapes on the shoulders to provide warmth without bulk.

It’s a good stash buster, using a single skein (100 gr) or less of a light worsted weight yarn.
