This triangular shaped shawl is worked from the bottom up, and is a long winged shallow shawl with a soft garter stitch body and a lace edge that’s knit at the same time as the body.
This is a fairly quick knit that can be done in any light weight yarn, with any size needles. Gauge is not critical. Create a fabric you like and knit until you get the size you want.
The simplicity of the design makes it suitable for tonals, ombres, variegated, or single color yarn. Anything goes.
The shawl pictured was done using Lana Grossa Gomitolo Puna with a size US 7 needle, and used about 800 yards to create a shawl that measures approximately 84 inches at the wingspan and 28 inches deep at the point.

There are charts and fully written out instructions for the charts. Enlarged section charts are also provided.
