Long Way
For this pattern, a little yarn can go a long way.
I set out to create a pattern that could use just one skein of bulky yarn and would create a stylish, quick project. Utilizing mesh as well as linked double crochet stitches helps you get the most mileage out of just a little bit of yarn.
This is an asymmetrical design that can be made as big or as small as you would like. It is written for using one skein of bulky yarn (approximately 106 yds / 96 m) but you can make it bigger with additional yardage. With both written and charted instructions, you’ll have this project crocheted in a weekend.
Stitching from stash and out of bulky weight yarn? The pattern will work with any weight (your finished gauge and dimensions will be different).
Use your favorite shawl pin or add a fun button to wrap this project around your neck.
A little support also goes a long way!
This is a great pattern to make if you’re looking to support a favorite dyer during this time. One skein of bulky yarn, finish it in a weekend. It doesn’t add to your stash, and helps out someone you love to support. You’ll have a new favorite accessory or have a gift for the year checked off your list. It’s a win-win-win!
