• 1 skein Blue Moon Fiber Arts® Single Silky Targhee or 696 (515) yds 636 (471) m of a plush DK to light-worsted-weight yarn
• US size 8 (5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge: any format
• For cowl only: two spare circular needles, any length, in size needed for gauge or smaller (to hold loops and stitches for grafting)
• Darning needle

Gauge: 15 sts and 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) over stockinette stitch
