My favorite beer - Loose Cannon - and not just because it has a high alcohol content! The colors for this shawl were inspired by the container that the beer comes in! True Story.

This asymmetrical shawl utilizes short rows and six colors to create a unique and flattering design. Pick six of your favorite fingering weight yarns in different colors. I used three solids and three variegated. Color six is used the most - roughly 450 yards were used for that color alone.

Garter Stitch is used throughout the shawl with the exception of the I-Cord Cast Off. This is a super stash buster for sock yarn - maybe use mini skeins? The possibilities are endless.

The written directions are broken down into sections like that of a TV show: Episodes, Crossovers and Minis. There are stitch counts for every section. The PDF is seven pages.

Have fun playing with color!

11/23/15: If you purchased this pattern prior to 11/23/15 please check your library for the Version 2. I added three rows of crochet to the outside edge with Color 6. This is optional an optional finishing touch.
