Here’s a fun technique: wrap the yarn twice around the needle, then later drop the extra yarnovers! The pattern stripes of long, open stitches provide a feminine contrast to the ridges on this garter-stitch cardigan. On alternate pattern stripes, the long open stitches are crossed, producing a crochet-like motif with a fine texture.
