This casual cardigan features contrasting edgings and a deep V-neck. The edgings are worked sideways in a ribbed pattern, then stitches are picked up for the body and sleeves, which are worked in seed stitch. The front bands and shawl collar are worked in a single piece in a k3, p2 rib pattern.

Finished Size About 35 (38¾, 43¼, 46½, 50½, 54¼)“ (89 98.5, 110, 118, 128.5, 138 cm) bust circumference, including 2” (5 cm) front band. Designed to be worn with about 3” (7.5 cm) of positive ease. Cardigan shown measures 35” (89 cm).

Needles Body, sleeves, front bands, and collar: size U.S. 6 (4 mm): 32” (80 cm) circular (cir); Edgings: size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
