Makin’ Waves is the July pattern for Little Turtle Knit’s Sock Club.

Makin’ Waves is a design for summer days, knit with a super soft and comfy organic cotton and bamboo blend. It was inspired by the rippling ocean lapping at my boys’ feet in Sea Isle, where our extended family practically lives in summertime. The waves are never fierce, just gently undulating with the tide and the perfect spot for the littles to explore the ocean. This design is the a great summer vacation take-along, because it’s interesting without being intricate; the cuff detailing is easily memorized and provides just enough to keep your attention, while being forgiving of non-knitting distractions. Knit up a pair, and when the winter chill comes you’ll have a pleasant reminder of the summer shores!
