Bolts of garter ridges and eyelet lace strike their way up the Maricara cowlneck pullover in a stunning display of stitch and shape. The drape of the fabric created by Peerie yarn lends itself well to Maricara’s boxy form, inviting flux and flow to an otherwise static shape. Allow the garter stitch collar to fall naturally about the neck, or fold it over for more structure — either which way you style it, Maricara is sure to make a winsome addition to your handknit sweater collection.

Construction

The front and back are worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The shoulders are joined, and then stitches are picked up for the sleeves. The sleeves are worked flat from the shoulder to the cuff. The sleeve and sides are seamed with mattress stitch. Stitches are picked up for the cowl collar, which is worked circularly.
